What I fine conference!  I must congratulate you on your careful planning and sound organisation in bringing such an interesting group of participants for another valuable conference.  Jane and I were pleased to be included in that number, and in sharing notes we find we have taken a lot from the interactions with a good range of people.  I anticipate, for example, that we may find a way of working with some of the Dutch people, and we are looking forward to re-connecting with Horst to understand more of his work in Germany.  It also occurred to us that we have some skills in managing group dynamics which we could share with you and others of your facilitators for use in your 'meta dialogues'.  If this would interest you, let's have a conversation to see what would be involved.  I think Jane will be in touch with you separately to see if we might put links in place between our website and your website, and we are thinking about what kind of report we could offer on our two sessions (on Concentric Circle Dialogue and Threshold Dialogue) for inclusion in your conference report.

thanks again

Until Hearts Meet

Socratic Dialogue

Chichester, 24-26 July 2009

 Subject to small print

Of regressive abstraction

That tipped the scale

Of acting with satisfaction,

I would like to state

Without throwing a stone at the temple

How angelic was

Our mild evangelisation

In taking the responsibility

In a light-bulb moment

For the future of this dialogue and

Look where it has taken us:

Tooth picking words

Committing non-commitment

Attaching detachment

Dispatching a nightmarish word storm

In whose eye safely nested crystal-ball gazing

Separates us from each other

Until hearts meet.
